Workplace Education Seminars

Group workplace seminars on nutrition provide employees with valuable information and tools to improve their health and well-being, covering a range of topics, including healthy eating, weight management, and strategies for improving energy and productivity through nutrition.

During these seminars, employees learn about the importance of nutrition for overall health and how to make healthier food choices, receive tips on meal planning, cooking healthier meals, and navigating food environments, or address specific health concerns relevant to the workplace, such as managing stress eating or eating for optimal performance.

Cooking Class

Cooking Class

Dietitian-led cooking classes or demonstrations offer an interactive and informative way to learn about healthy eating and hands on skills.

During the class or demonstration, participants learn how to prepare nutritious and delicious meals using fresh, whole ingredients. The dietitian may cover topics such as meal planning, portion control, and label reading, as well as tips for incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into the diet.

Participants have the opportunity to ask questions, taste the dishes, and receive practical advice on how to apply what they've learned to their own cooking.

Disability Group Homes

Group home menu auditing and meal plan development services are designed to ensure that residents receive nutritious and balanced meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

During a menu audit, the dietitian reviews the current menu of the group home to assess its nutritional quality, variety, and compliance with dietary guidelines. They also consider the dietary requirements of the residents, such as allergies, intolerances, and cultural preferences. Based on the audit findings, the dietitian makes recommendations for improving the menu to better meet the nutritional needs of the residents.

Meal plan development involves creating a customized meal plan for the group home that takes into account the recommendations from the menu audit as well as the specific needs of the residents.
