Exciting News: Shannon, Our Dietitian, Takes on a Leading Role in Nutrition Support

We're thrilled to announce that Shannon, our dedicated Accredited Practising Dietitian, has been appointed Vice Convenor for the Dietitians Australia Nutrition Support Interest Group! This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Shannon's expertise and passion for providing exceptional care to individuals with disabilities.

What does this mean for Access Ability and our clients?

  • Enhanced Expertise:  Shannon's involvement in this national group provides her with access to the latest research, best practices, and a network of leading nutrition support dietitians across Australia. This translates to even more specialised and informed care for our clients.

  • Stronger Advocacy: As Vice Convenor, Shannon will play an active role in advocating for improved nutrition support services for individuals with disabilities. This includes raising awareness, influencing policy, and promoting best practices within the dietetic profession and beyond.

  • Elevating Standards:  The Nutrition Support Interest Group focuses on specialised nutrition therapies, including enteral nutrition (tube feeding) and parenteral nutrition (intravenous feeding). Shannon's leadership position ensures we are at the forefront of delivering the highest quality nutrition support to our clients.
